Our hosting already scans for malware and blocks attacks around the clock. This is the part the hosting cannot do: someone checks those results every month and acts on them, sets up and monitors your email authentication (SPF, DKIM and DMARC) so nobody can send email pretending to be you, and proves your backups restore before you ever need them. Every figure goes in your monthly report.

Why a website needs looking after
WordPress, your theme and every plugin get security updates. When nobody applies them, the site drifts further behind until something breaks or gets exploited. Most business owners only find out when a customer tells them the contact form has stopped working.
A website care plan fixes that. Updates are tested on a staging copy first, backups are kept off the server and restore-tested, and your PHP version stays on a supported release. Each month you get a short report in plain English, including your Google Search Console results, so you can see whether people are finding you as well as whether the site is healthy.
We are based in Melbourne and work with small businesses across Australia, with most on-site work in south-east Melbourne. We can look after a site we do not host, too.

What is a website care plan?
A monthly service that keeps your website updated, backed up and checked, with a short plain-English report of what was done. It is what stops a site quietly falling apart after it is built.
Isn't that what my hosting is for?
No. Hosting keeps your site online. A care plan keeps it working. They are different things and they are priced separately.
How much does it cost?
Hosting starts at $39.99 a month and the Website Care Plan is $149 a month, both including GST. New pages, rewritten content and design changes are quoted before they start.
Can you look after a website you don't host?
Yes. The updates, backups, checks and monthly report work the same way. On hosting we do not control, we can diagnose a server problem but the fix has to come from your host, and we will tell you exactly what to ask them for.
What happens if my website breaks?
You tell us and we deal with it. Fixing a fault caused by an update we applied is included. A problem from outside the site, or a request to build something new, is quoted first.
Do I need to do anything myself?
Almost nothing. Most of our clients never touch their own website. Changes are sent to us and we make them. If you would rather keep your hands on it, that works too.
