What's Included

This page sets out what a website care plan includes each month, and just as importantly what sits outside it. Worth reading before you commit to anything.

Every month, included

WordPress core, plugin and theme updates, tested on a staging copy before they go anywhere near your live site. A backup taken and restore-tested, because a backup nobody has restored is a hope rather than a plan. A check that your PHP version is still on a supported release. A check that the site loads and the contact form delivers. And a short written report telling you what was done.

Not included, and billed separately

New pages, rewritten content, new photography, design changes, and anything that is a project rather than maintenance. These are quoted before they start, and they appear on the monthly report as separate items with the hours against them, so you can see exactly what you paid for and why.

When something breaks

If the site goes down or something stops working, you contact us and we deal with it. Fixing a fault caused by an update we applied is included. A problem caused by something outside the site, or a request to build something new, is quoted first.

Separate from hosting

Hosting keeps your site online. A care plan keeps it working. They are different things and they are priced separately.
